“Stop talking, save lives, ban Mazhandu Buses”
An irate citizen has demanded that government take a decisive decision to save lives by banning Mazhandu Bus Services.
Commenting on a number of accidents recorded involving the company citing the latest one Tuesday morning on Great North Road that claimed 10 lives and left several injured, Derick Chekwe said enough is enough.
He said:
Accidents are NOT caused by the night driving, idiots. Urban night driving and BAN Mazhandu until it changes its ways, please. ONE bus company cannot cause so much loss of life and loss of business for so many people.
Let’s stop this childish political behaviour and do the right things. Can we please stop debating and save lives and businesses please!
People cannot do quick business in Nakonde, Livingstone, Katima Mulilo because of the stupid ban on night driving! To do business in Lusaka from Copperbelt you need to take two productive days off your schedule because no bus starts off after 14hrs.
And the precious lives lost!! Oh my God!!
