Chipenzi said this in a telephone interview with journalists in Lusaka.

He also observed that it is worrying that Lungu has been quiet on the issue, adding that as long as the ministers are in power and citizens do not take action, the ministers will get away with it.

And Chipenzi has asked politicians especially those in power to be prudent with the national resources. He said  the situation were former ministers don’t pay back is worrying for everybody who would want to see the prudent use of public resources by political leaders.

Chipenzi noted that Zambians have an uphill battle to claim the money from ministers whether they are serving or lost the elections.  He added that the money can be paid back through the ministers salaries and allowances so that they are able to cover up for what  they owe to the citizens.

Meanwhile, a Choma resident Andrew Banda says the people of Zambia are  watching carefully on this matter to see if Lungu and  and Government will respect the laws of the land or the Constitution

Banda asked all Zambians to follow the matter and ensure that the observe the reaction and actions of the president on the matter if he respect the rule of law
