Sports Federations urged to submit their 2023 budgets

Government has advised Sports Federations to submit their 2023 budgets in advance before the national budget is finalised.

Youth, Sports and Arts Minister ELVIS NKANDU says this will help the Ministry to plan ahead and have ample time to request for funds from the Ministry of Finance.

NKANDU says there is a lot of enthusiasm in the sports fraternity with positive results coming from various sectors.

He told ZNBC news that he remains optimistic that there will be a reasonable increase in allocation to sports because of the performance of the women’s team.
