“SP FLOODS NEED MITIGATION-CHISANGANO

Second Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly MALUNGO CHISANGANO says there is need to mitigate the effects of floods in Southern Province.

Ms. CHISANGANO says floods have a long term effect on the welfare of people.

She said this when she graced this year’s women’s day celebrations in Chikankata District.

Ms CHISANGANO also assured the people of Chikankata District that the National Assembly is going to support good policies that are been implemented by President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA.

And Chikankata Member of Parliament JACKLYN SABAO said the women in her constituency are happy because they have been empowered through the increase in Constituency Development Funds.

And Chieftainess MWEENDA said there is need to address gender disparities.

The traditional leader was speaking through her representative LASON MAPULANGA.
