SOME SPORTS ASSOCIATIONS DISAPPOINTS NKANDU

Sports Minister ELVIS NKANDU is disappointed that some Sports Associations are abusing government’s goodwill to sponsor athletes to international events.

NKANDU has regretted that some sports federations are inflating figures for budgets for international events.

He was speaking when Varun Beverages Zambia donated 20 track suits to the Zambia Netball Association today.

And Varun Beverages Zambia Human Resource Director RICHARD KAJOKOTO said his company was happy to be associated with the development of sport in the country.

KAJOKOTO said this company will continue to support netball and help government create jobs through sport.

And Netball Association of Zambia President MARTHA SICHONE said the donation will go a long way in helping the team prepare for the world Cup qualifiers set for South Africa in August this year.
