Soldier Arrested for Head Butting Cop

Police in Ndola have arrested a 28 year old Zambia Army Officer of Tug-Argan Barracks in Ndola for allegedly beating up a 30 year old police officer.

Copperbelt Police Chief Charity Katanga said the incident happened when the police officer identified as Chisowa Mubanga, 30, of House Number 1137 Chinese Complex in Ndola wanted to arrest the army officer Allan Mwaanga, 28, of House Number 116 Tug-Argan Barracks.

Katanga explained that Mubanga was head butted thereby causing bruises after the Police officer attempt to arrest him for bad behaviour.

“The soldier head butted the Police Officer twice on the face thereby causing bruises. This happened when the Police Officer wanted to arrest the soldier for misbehaving. Docket opened. Arrest has been made,” Katanga said.
