Soccer fans cheer Copper Queens

Soccer fans in Lusaka have urged the Copper queens to keep their confidence levels high as they prepare to face the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco on Tuesday.

This follows last night’s 2-1 defeat as the two countries faced off in the 2024 Paris Olympic final round second leg qualifier match.

The copper queens who have left for Morocco this afternoon need to win the return fixture to qualify to the Olympics.

A TV2 news crew spoke to some fans who say the Copper queens played a good game despite their loss.
