SIKAZWE BIDS FAREWELL TO ARMY

Army Commander Lieutenant General DENNIS ALIBUZWI says the Zambia Army is committed to continue playing its key role of maintaining peace in the country and beyond.

General ALIBUZWI says the security of the nation depends on the skills and dedication of all professionals in the defense force.

He says the Army stands ready to provide a safe and  effective combat force to the nation.

General ALIBUZWI was speaking during a farewell parade for the outgoing Zambia Army Commander Lieutenant general WILLIAM SIKAZWE in Lusaka.

Meanwhile, General SIKAZWE said caderlism in the defense force must be stopped at all cost.

General SIKAZWE however explained that loyalty and professionalism must be inculcated in all the ranks without exemption.

He further called on soldiers to remain non- partisan and support government of the day for which the Zambia Army is known for.
