“SHOW LOVE TO OTHERS LIKE JESUS DID”

President Edgar Lungu has urged Zambians to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ through showing love to others .
President Lungu says for love to be reflected there is need for people to be their brothers’ keepers.
He has encouraged Zambians to express true love through how they interact with neighbors and the people living in the community .
The Head of State explained that true love is reflected through forgiveness and love for one another.
He says through loving one another , peace is attained.
President Lungu said this today, when he attended a Christmas service at St Mary Magdalene Anglican Church in Lusaka .
And speaking during the sermon , Parish Priest Sanford Busiku urged the congregants to celebrate the birth of Jesus by reading the bible.
He said Christmas gives hope to many and should be a source of hope and love.
Reverend Father Busiku said it is important for the nation that belongs to God to rejoice in the Lord.
Meanwhile, Heart of Mercy Founder Reverend Chongo Phiri has  urged Zambians to give to the needy during the festive period.
Reverend Phiri says there is need to always support the under privileged in society.
She was speaking shortly after Heart of Mercy and Adassah Orphans Club  distributed Christmas hampers to four families in Lusaka’s John Laing.
Reverend Phiri said that the Heart of Mercy hopes to reach out to many people, but finances have been a challenge.
She appealed to other well-wishers to partner with the organisation in helping the needy.
And Adassah Orphans Club Founder Adassah Phiri has called on youths to become relevant this Christmas period.
Meanwhile, the families thanked the two organisations for coming to their aid this festive season.
