SCORES TURN UP FOR VACCINATION

Scores of people in Lusaka have turned up for the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine at various centers established by the ministry of health.

A check by ZNBC at selected centers found long queues of people as they waited to get the vaccine.

And those spoken to said they are confident that the vaccine is the only sure way of protecting oneself from severe Covid 19 in case of an infection.

The vaccine is part of the Two Hundred and 28 thousand doses that arrived this week from France under the Covax facility.
