Scores begin to certify results ahead of teacher recruitment

Luyando Hamwaala-Scores of people turned up at the Examinations Council of Zambia -ECZ- service centre to verify and certify their grade 12 results in preparation for the planned recruitment of 30 thousand teachers.

However ECZ has advised eligible candidates to wait for the recruitment advertisement to be public in order for them to know what is needed for the application process.

Speaking with ZNBC news ECZ Public Relation Officer NICOLAS NKHUWA said only those certifying results for the purpose of obtaining a Teaching Council of Zambia Certificate will be attended to.

He said those who already have the TCZ certificates should wait for the recruitment advertisement before going to the ECZ service centers.
