Royal exit for Zesco United in the Confederations Cup

Zesco United have been dumped out of the CAF Confederations Cup following a 1-1 home draw against Royal AM of South Africa.

The Ndola giants went into Saturday’s second leg tie as favourites but failed to live up to the tag with another lucklustre performance.

Midfielder Collins Sikombe’s sent the home crowd into celebrations with a well taken strike on the half hour mark.

After the break Ruzaigh Gamildien equalised for the visitors.

Royal AM advance to next round via a 1-1 aggregate.
