Roll out Marketeer booster loans – MUBANGA

Small and Medium Enterprises Development Minister ELIAS MUBANGA has tasked his officers to expedite the disbursement of Marketeers booster loans to all districts that have not yet received the funds.

And Mr. MUBANGA is saddened that marketeers in ZIMBA District have not yet received the empowerment funds.

He says this is despite most of them having applied for the facility.

The Minister said this in ZIMBA District when he toured the main market to check on the roll out of government empowerment programmes in the area.

And some of the traders told the minister that they are ready to re-apply for the loans if guidelines for the facility have been changed.

SAUL HOBE and JOHN KAPELWA said they submitted their applications some time back but have not yet received approval from officers administering the facility.

Other traders such as DAVID CHANSA and EMELDA SINKUYA said they needed the loans to inject capital into their businesses.
