Reward offered for gassing perpetrators

By Tamara Muswala-President Edgar Lungu has offered a reward of 250,000 Kwacha to anyone with information leading to the arrest of the people responsible for gassing.And President Lungu says the police are closing in on the people behind the gassing of homes in the country.The Head of State says government is making steady progress and that very soon the culprits will be brought to book.President Lungu says government is aware of some people who are trying by all means to get to State house by trying to cause confusion in the country.Speaking on arrival at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International airport in Ndola, where Copperbelt residents braved the rains waiting for him, President LUNGU said he is not a coward and that he will do everything to protect the people of Zambia.President LUNGU said enough is enough that is why he has deployed the Zambia Army to work with the Zambia police to contian the situation.And the head of state also thanked scores of people that came to receive him at the Airport.President LUNGU said he will hold meetings with police Commissioners before returning to Lusaka on either Friday or Saturday.
