REGISTRAR OF SOCIETIES ADDED TO GSB

The Department of the Registrar of Societies has been added to the Government Service Bus and payment gateway system.

Speaking during the launch, Home Affairs Minister Stephen Kampyongo said his ministry will continue to modernise all its services as a way to be more efficient.

Mr. Kampyongo said the development will improve the quality of services offered to the public and also enhance transparency.

Meanwhile,  the Minister has advised political parties to desist from using the registrar of societies as a platform to settle scores or a conduit of criminality.

And National Coordinator for Smart Zambia Martine Mtonga said Government continues to increase the number services being offered on the E- service Bus.

Dr. Mtonga said the Government service bus and payment gateway system in a solution to some of the immediate payment process challenges as it is secure and instant.

Speaking at the same event, Ministry of Finance representative Chanda Mumba explained that the Government service bus will transform and improve service delivery.

And the chief Registrar of Societies Thandiwe Mhende said the migration of the department to the government service bus will enhance operations.
