REGISTER WORKERS WITH COMPENSATION FUND-KAZIYA

Ministry of Labour and Social Security Permanent Secretary CHANDA KAZIYA has urged employers in Mkushi District to ensure that their workers are registered with the Workers Compensation Fund.

Mr. KAZIYA said this when he led a delegation of Workers Compensation Fund Control Board officials which was visiting the District to acquaint itself with labour related issues in the area.

He said it will be easy for the workers to be helped in case of an accident when they are registered.

Mr. KAZIYA further pointed out that the essence of touring Mkushi’s labour outlook is to ensure that there is compliance with the stipulated health measures to curb the spread of COVID 19 at work places.

Meanwhile, Mkushi District Commissioner EMMANUEL SIKONDE described the visit by Mr. KAZIYA as timely.
