Red Arrows’ Tshibwabwa joins South African club

Red Arrows defender Tresor ‘The Business man’ Tshibwabwa has joined South African Premier Soccer League side Sekhukhune United for undisclosed fee, the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal.

The highly rated Congolese centre back is believed to have signed a three year deal at Sekhukhune United.

“Yes, Tresor is joining Sekhukhune in South Africa. It’s a record fee from the ZSL to the PSL,” a source said.

Tshibwabwa is believed to have turned down the chance to return to his homeland to sign for TP Mazembe.

Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are believed to have enquired about the services of the defender but offered less.

The 24 year old has been one of the stand out players in the Zambian Super League since he arrived from FC Lupopo 26 months ago.

The former DR Congo Under-20 captain helped the Airmen to a league title last season with his solid performances at the back.

Zambian duo Rodrick Kabwe and goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata are on the books of Sekhukhune United.
