RB To Put Icing On Pres. Lungu’s East Campaign Tour

President Edgar Lungu will this afternoon hit the Eastern Province for a two day campaign duty that starts with Malambo Constituency.

The PF presidential candidate has just wound up his tour of the Copperbelt as the country goes into the final stretch of campaigns ahead of next Thursday’s general elections.

President Lungu will be joined on campaign duty by former Republican President Rupiah Banda.

The Banda factor could count heavy in the Eastern Province where the former diplomat helped late President Levy Mwanawasa win the 2006 elections with crucial votes in the region.

Mwanawasa gratefully appointed Banda as Republican Vice President in the aftermath of hat election.
