RICKY BANDA- RED ARROWS

The Zambia U-20 national team forward has been a true revelation this season and no one can bet against him taking home the accolade.

With just two goals separating him and Samu and given the way Red Arrows have been dominating games, the Jumulo on loan player at Nkoloma Stadium could just walk away with the top gong.

Banda has six games to make that a reality against, Nkwazi, Zanaco, Kabwe Warriors, Chambishi, Kafue Celtic, and Indeni.

The matches in front of him a very favorable and he has a real shot at winning the golden boot.

ALBERT KANGWANDA- KAFUE CELTIC

The youngster has been the Crocs’ lightning rod in this season with eleven goals including some brilliant strikes with the one against Kansanshi as the most memorable.

Kangwanda has however not scored in the last four games and needs to find his scoring boots quickly if he is to win the golden boot award.

He has games against Zanaco, Konkola Blades, Green Eagles, Kabwe Warriors, Red Arrows, and Prison Leopards to try and outscore everyone in the league as he hopes to help Kafue Celtic survive relegation.

Albert Kangwanda

Jimmy Ndhlovu, and Alex Ng’onga are both on nine, John Ching’andu, Jesse Jackson Were, and Hosea Silwimba who are on eight goals have an outside chance to win the golden.

It seems very far off for the five to challenge, Samu, Banda, Kangwanda, and Phiri but in the Zambia Super League anything is possible and the fans can always count on a thrilling if not a dramatic end to the season every time.
