QUEEN ELIZABETH HONOURS ZAMBIANS

Queen ELIZABETH has honoured six members of St John’s Zambia with the insignia of recognition for their dedication and service to the community.

St John Zambia is a non -profit organisation that is founded to serve humanity by way of providing first Aid, Ambulances services and Health care among other humanitarian assistance.

Speaking during the investiture ceremony in Lusaka, British Deputy High Commissioner to Zambia WILL ECKERSLEY said the Queen is happy to recognise the efforts of the staff and volunteers of the Organisation.

And, St John’s Zambia Chairperson and Former Inspector General of Police ZUNGA SIAKALIMA thanked the institution for financial and technical support rendered to the Zambia Office.

Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police LEMMY KAJOBA said Police will continue to partner with St John’s Zambia in the training of Police officers.

Mr KAJOBA said this in a speech read on his behalf by the Assistant Director Administration JAMES MUSHILI .

And, St John’s Zambia National Coordinator, MORRICE MUTEBA called on more Zambians to join the organisation as members and volunteers in order to serve humanity.

Among those awarded , MARTHA DAKA, a Volunteer, DAVIES LUNGU an Ambulance Driver, HASTINGS KAMANGA a Police Officer and ELILOT NJOVU from the Ministry of Health.
