PSL Watch: A number of Zambian players expected to be in action

The 2019/2020 South African Premier Soccer League will come to an end after just two rounds of matches and aa such the games will now be played at the same time.

Today all the eight games will kick off at 18:00hrs and a number of Zambian players are expected to have some action with their teams.

Defensive midfielder, Nathan Sinkala is expected to start for Stellenbosch who welcomes Amazulu at the Tuks Stadium. The match is live on Supersport 4.

At Loftus Versfeld Stadium, Relegation-threatened Polokwane City welcomes title-chasing Mamelodi Sundowns in a do or die clash for both teams.

Salulani Phiri is expected to start for Polokwane while Kennedy Mweene may continue with more game time for Masandawana between the sticks. Mwenya Cyril Chibwe may also make the Polokwane matchday squad.

At the Orlando Stadium, Lazarus Kambole’s Kaizer Chiefs who are chasing their record 13th PSL title will welcome Chippa United in a must-win affair.

Orlando Pirates penultimate fixture of the season is away to Maritzburg United at Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville and its unclear if any if the Zambian trio in striker Justin Shonga, midfielder Austin Muwowo, and winger Augustine Mulenga will even make the matchday squad.

The Chipolopolo players seem to have fallen out of favor with coach Josef Zinnbauer.

Last season’s PSL top goalscorer, Mwape Musonda, and his Black Leopards teammates will be looking to record a win this evening at the FNB Stadium when they welcome Bidvest Wits.

Lidoda Duvha is currently second from bottom with just 26 points from 28 games played so far.

At Bidvest Stadium, Supersport United will welcome Baroka FC. Striker Gamphani Lungu is expected to start for Matsatsantsa.
