PROTECT LUANGWA RIVER-WWF

Worldwide Fund for nature -WWF- Zambia has appealed to President Edgar Lungu to squawk the Luangwa river a marvelous situation beneath the Water Act of 2011.
WWF-Country Director Nachilala Nkombo says that is because wild life, of us and other species are benefitting from the river.
Ms Nkombo used to be talking at a Campaign for Protection of Wild Existence within the Luangwa River.
Her allure comes following plans by an investor to invent a dam on Luangwa river.
She defined that if the mission to invent a dam goes forward, human and wild life will seemingly be displaced and that this can also exchange the landscape of the placement.
Ms Nkombo added that her organisation has been involving Government thru the Ministry of Tourism over the topic.
And ZNBC board chairperson Mulenga Kapwepwe, Broken-down Zambia Nationwide Crew captain Christopher Katongo and Zambian Female boxer Catherine Phiri possess been among of us that attended the WWF marketing campaign in enhance of security of natural world within the Luangwa river.
