Infrastructure projects that link Zambia and Tanzania such as the TAZARA railway line and the TAZAMA pine line were also discussed.

Earlier, President SAMIA held bilateral talks with President HICHILEMA and later this afternoon she addressed the National Assembly of Zambia.

At the airport, a guard of honour and some traditional dances characterized the sending off of President SAMIA.

Earlier in the day ,Tanzanian President, SAMIA SULUHU-HASSAN urged Zambian Members of Parliament to support the government’s initiatives for socio-economic development.

And, President SAMIA says Tanzanian Cargo flights will soon start flying to Zambia to enhance trade between the two countries.

The President SAMIA explained that politicising such programmes will retard progress, because the two countries have a lot to do to improve people’s lives.

President SAMIA said this today when she addressed the National Assembly in Lusaka.

She said Tanzania is ready to work with Zambia in resource mobilisation for improving common infrastructure such as the TAZARA rail line, TAZAMA pipeline, among others.
