PRESIDENT LUNGU ARRIVES IN KALUMBILA

(ZANIS) President EDGAR LUNGU is in North-western province on a two-day working visit.

The plane carrying the Head of State touched down at Kalumbila airport at 09:51 hours today.

Accompanying President LUNGU are Patriotic Front -PF- Central Committee member, JOSEPH MALANJI and SAMUEL MUKUPA, the PF national chairperson who is also campaign manager, among others.

He was received by Provincial Permanent Secretary, WILLIES MANGIMELA, PF provincial chairperson, JACKSON KUNGO, Kalumbila District Commissioner ROBINSON KALOTA, senior government and party officials.

President LUNGU immediately took off for Ikelenge and Mwinilunga districts where he is expected to inspect government programmes and projects.

Tomorrow, he is expected to be in Chavuma, Zambezi and Mufumbwe districts and later return to Lusaka.
