President HICHILEMA thanks Luanshya residents

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has thanked the residents of Luanshya and the Copperbelt for their patience as the Government is working at unlocking shaft 28 which has since been renamed as New Luanshya Mines on the Copperbelt.

President HICHILEMA says his government will do everything possible to make life easier for the people of Luanshya and Copperbelt in General.

He said this during a public rally in Luanshya’s Roan Constituency at Mpatamatu Stadium.

President HICHILEMA also emphasised on the need for unity to foster development.

Earlier, Copperbelt Minister, ELISHA MATAMBO said the President has performed beyond people’s expectations within limited time.

Meanwhile, Roan Member Parliament, JOEL CHIBUYE said President HICHILEMA’s leadership is exemplary.

He further called on the residents of Luanshya to support the President for sustained development.

Mr. CHIBUYE also called on government to ensure that local people are prioritized in employment and supplying in the mines following the Commissioning of shaft 28.
