President HICHILEMA, Confers with outgoing envoys

Outgoing South Africa’s High Commissioner to Zambia GEORGE TWALA says the investment that the UPND administration is making using Constituency Development Fund -CDF- will improve livelihoods.

Mr. TWALA says the increased CDF will soon start showing benefits to all Zambians.

He further says the planned inaugural economic Conference between Zambia and South Africa will enhance bilateral economic ties.

Mr. TWALA said this in his farewell message to President HICHILEMA at State House.

And President HICHILEMA said Zambia and South Africa can work together in the Electric Vehicle value chain.

He added that there is need to push for more investment and economic related agenda in the SADC region.

President HICHILEMA thanked Mr. TWALA for his service to Zambia during his tour of duty and wished him well in his future endeavours.

MEANWHILE, President HICHILEMA has called for enhanced trade and investment relations between Zambia and Nigeria.

President HICHILEMA was speaking when outgoing Nigeria’s High Commissioner to Zambia NWANNEBUIKE OMINYI EZE called on him at Statehouse to bid farewell.

The President thanked the outgoing Nigerian envoy for his service and wished him well in his future endeavours.

And Mr. EZE applauded Zambia for being one of the most peaceful and hospitable countries on the Continent.

He said the Nigerian Government is grateful for the peace and care that its citizens living in Zambia receive.
