PRAYERS FOR COVID-19

The Church mother bodies are  tomorrow Sunday  scheduled to hold  a live broadcast of the National Day of Prayer and Fasting against the Coronavirus disease.The Church mother bodies are Council of Churches in Zambia , Zambia Conference of Catholic Bishops, Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia and the Independent Churches of Zambia .Council of Churches in Zambia General Secretary Reverend Canon Emmanuel Chikoya says the national day of Prayer and Fasting will be held under the theme Standing together in faith through the Times of Coronavirus.Reverend Chikoya advised the church membership and the public to encourage prayer and fasting in the comfort of their homes as no gathering will be held in any church for the prayers.He said that the Prayers will be held on March 29, 2020 and Sunday April 5, 2020.And ZNBC will carry the the prayers live on ZNBC  Television at 08 hours .
