President Edgar Lungu says executive will retain the day of National Prayers and fasting.
President Lungu says the 18th of October used to be place aside because of Zambia is a Christian nation and majority of voters are Christians.
He says despite religion and salvation being a non-public matter, it is no longer a criminal offense to place a day for Christians to salvage and part the phrase of God at nationwide stage.
The President nonetheless says it is embarrassing that some political leaders to record their followers to shun the nationwide prayers sexy thanks to politics.
