Political parties start adoptions

Some political parties have started receiving adoption applications for the Kwacha and Kabushi Parliamentary seats.

UPND Spokesperson CORNELIUS MWEETWA says the party has credible and strong candidates that are likely to win the seats.

Speaking in a telephone interview with ZNBC news, Mr. MWEETWA called for support to would-be candidates so that the UPND can have more parliamentarians.

And Patriotic Front Acting Secretary General NICKSON CHILANGWA said the party has started receiving applications from eligible candidates for Kwacha and Kabushi.

Mr. CHILANGWA further said former Kwacha Member of Parliament JOSEPH MALANJI and former Kabushi Member of Parliament BOWMAN LUSAMBO are also eligible to stand and are free to apply.
