POLICE WARN AGAINST HOLDING ROADSHOWS AND RALLIES

By Hector Simfukwe- The Zambia Police Service says political parties that will be found holding rallies and road shows will be dealt with as the ban is still in effect.

Police Spokesperson ESTHER KATONGO says by now everyone should know that rallies are super spreaders of the COVID 19 pandemic.

Mrs. KATONGO urged officers that have been deployed countrywide to ensure that no political party holds rallies and road shows.

She told ZNBC News that all political parties are expected to comply with the Ban.

The Electoral Commission of Zambia has banned Political Parties from holding rallies as well as Road shows due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
