Police gives update on Precious’ murder case

Zambia Police Acting Spokesperson Esther Mwata Katongo has disclosed that the young lady(Precious) who is reported to have shot and killed her husband was recorded a warn and caution statement and is likely to be formally charged tomorrow which will be followed by her appearance in court anytime after.
Ms Katongo has further rubbished the story circulating on social media where the woman suspect (precious) is reported to have twisted the story and Pinned the murder on the deceased’s younger brother as false.
” There is no where were she said the brother was involved in the case its just the Malice that is coming with social media”Katongo said.
she adds that the Police are still keeping (precious) in their custody based on the information they have obtained from herself as key suspect.
And When asked whether the police had ascertained why the said woman murdered her husband, Ms Katongo said the courts would be better placed to give the particulars of the offence as it is off the Police’s Jurisdiction to release such information.
