A high-ranking Zambia Police Service delegation led by Inspector –General Kakoma Kanganja,  has arrived in Turkey for an exchange programme aimed at strengthening collaboration with the Turkish National Police for best practices.

Charge d’Affaires of Zambia in Turkey, Bwalya Nondo, and high-ranking Turkish National Police officials received Mr Kanganja and his six-member delegation at Ankara Esenboga International Airport this morning.

During the two-day visit, Kanganja and his delegation will interact with the Turkish National Police and the Turkish Co-operation and Co-ordination Agency (TIKA) and discuss issues of capacity-building relating to security.

This comes after the Training of Trainers (TOT) capacity-building course that an eight-member delegation of officers from the Zambia Police Service underwent under auspices of (TIKA) in August this year.

TIKA has been supporting projects in the fields of health, tourism, and education in Zambia.
