PF Youths this morning stormed the Drug Enforcement Commission-DEC- Anti Money Laundering Unit to offer solidarity to former Special Assistant for Press and Public Relations to President Edgar Lungu, Amos Chanda who has been summoned to appear for questioning.

Mr. Chanda is expected to be questioned for suspected money laundering activities.

But PF Youths led by their Provincial Youth Chairperson Daniel Kalembe stormed the premises and said they felt obliged to offer solidarity to Mr. Chanda.

The Youths sung songs glorifying the party and President Lungu as DEC officers, journalists and other people present looked on while others verbally harassed and showered insults at some DEC officers who blocked entry into the offices before their leader Daniel Kalembe stopped them.

And in an interview, Mr. Kalembe told journalists that he and his colleagues felt duty bound to offer Mr. Chanda solidarity as he was a close ally to President Lungu and a friend of the ruling pf.
Mr. Kalembe encouraged Mr. Chanda to persevere because he has a lot of enemies.

By broadcast time, Mr. Amos Chanda had not yet been queried by the DEC officers.
