PF WOMEN NODS CHRISTIAN NATION DECLARATION

By Patrick Mulenga:Patriotic Front Lusaka Province Women’s league Chairperson Margaret Mumba says the declaration of Zambia as a Christian Nation has always helped the country to unite even in times of hardships.Speaking during a Women’s mobilization meeting in Kanyama, Mrs. Mumba said the PF has shown leadership in many aspects and that it will not fail to address the current challenges the country is facing.Mrs. Mumba said women are the main players in economic development and that this is why they must work together for the country to progress.She said without the participation of women in the governance system, meaningful development will not be realised.Mrs. Mumba however called on the women in Kanyama to enhance party mobilization programmes so that more people can come on board.She said 2021 is around the corner and numbers are needed for the party to retain power.Meanwhile, Lusaka District PF Chairlady Timeke Chirwa called for reconciliation in the party.
