PF UNSHAKEN BY ELIGIBILITY DEBATE

Government Chief Whip Brian Mundubile says the PF will not be distracted by the eligibility debate which is a settled matter.

Mr Mundubile says those that are questioning the eligibility of President Edgar Lungu should not expect a different outcome from the verdict of the Constitutional court.

He says arguments by some lawyers that are being pushed now were the same ones which were taken to the Constitutional Court .

Mr Mundubile who PF Chairman for legal affairs says those insisting on debating the issue are just playing politics because if they had an arguable case they would have gone to court by now.

Mr. Mundubile was speaking to ZNBC News in an interview today.

He said  the PF and the President have a bigger focus of delivering development to Zambians.

Mr. Mundubile says President Edgar Lungu is busy delivering on all campaign promises because he is sure that he is eligible to stand as President in 2021.
