PF south confident of good results in the region in August poll

Moombe Hamobola-PF Southern Province Chairperson LAWRENCE EVANS says people who are underrating the strength of the party in the region will be in for a rude shock after the August 12 general election.

Mr. EVANS told ZNBC News in Livingstone that the PF has made significant inroads in Southern Province and that it will get very good results in the general election.

He said the PF will not struggle to campaign because the massive development works in the province will speak for the party.

And Mr. EVANS has urged all political parties to avoid violence as the campaigns intensify.

He said political parties should focus on selling their manifestos as opposed to engaging in violence which is detrimental to the nation.
