Patriotic front -PF- Secretary General Davies Mwila has with immediate effect lifted what he termed as “fake” suspensions slapped on some party officials on the Copperbelt.

Mr. Mwila says this is because the suspensions were effected without due process and in contravention with the party constitution and the party’s disciplinary code of conduct.

And Mr. Mwila has with immediate effect disbanded all PF security wings that are not officially recognized by the party’s security office led by PF youth chairman Stephen Kampyongo as mandated by the central committee of the patriotic front.

The secretary general further guided the party officials to discharge their constitutional duty of Mobilising the party and not abdicate this responsibility to members of parliament or Councillors.

He has however warned that all those who are not in good standing with the party will not be allowed to stand.

Speaking when addressing party members on the Copperbelt, Mr. Mwila has encouraged the party members to resuscitate the PF structures at all levels.

Mr. Mwila has stated that it is of paramount importance for the youth and women wings in the party to be strengthened in order for the party on the province to grow.

Patriotic front Election Chairman Yamfwa Mukanga has since advised PF members to continue rallying behind the leadership of President Edgar Lungu so as to maintain the popularity of the ruling party in the country.

And Mr. Mukanga has assured party members that the intra-party elections will be free and fare.
