PF Cadres attack NDC Officials at 5FM Studios

Some Cadres suspected to be from the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) have attacked some officials from Chishimba Kambwili’s National Democratic Congress (NDC) at 5fm radio where they were scheduled to appear on The Burning Issue programme.

A staff at the Radio station tells Zambian Eye that the Cadres besieged the studios situated opposite Levy Mwanawasa Shopping Mall just a stone away from Lusaka Central Police station.

“They cadres broken window-screen of the vehicle for Mr Mwenya Musenge, the  NDC secretary general Mwenya Musenge’s and smashed some windows of the Studios,” the reporter at 5FM told Zambian Eye.

He says NDC spokesperson Eric Chanda had to fire warning shots in the air that is when the Cadres scampered leaving the premises.
