PF Cadre Kalimanshi jailed for drugs possession

Hannock Kasama-PF cadre INNOCENT KALIMANSHI, commonly known as Ama-Amelicans, has been jailed for one year after being convicted of being in possession cannabis.

Mr. KALIMANSHI has been incarcerated along with his co-accused ANDREW MENDE who also faces a one prison term.

Lusaka Magistrate SANFORD NGOLOBA has delivered the verdict.

Magistrate NGOLOBA has however acquitted other four individuals who were also Mr. KALIMANSHI’s co- accused.

He has ruled that there is no evidence linking the four to the charge.

On the other hand, 22 other co-accused were earlier acquitted during the case to answer stage of the case.

Meanwhile, Mr .KALIMANSHI has been acquitted on the other charge of unlawful use of a motor vehicle

He was arrested in July 2021.
