Patson Daka to lead Leicester attack against Tottenham Hotspur

Chipolopolo forward Patson Daka will tomorrow lead the Foxes attack as they welcome Tottenham Hotspur at King Power Stadium.

Daka has been out since 22 December after sustaining a hamstring injury in the 4-3 loss away at Anfield.

The Foxes boss Brendan Rogers confirmed that Daka is back from injury together with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Luke Thomas, Çağlar Söyüncü and James Justin.

With Vardy out for close to two months and Kelechi Iheanacho away at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, Daka will have to lead the Foxes on Wednesday night.

“It’s the ones who were going to be available for our last game. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall will be back, Luke Thomas. Çağlar Söyüncü will be back… Patson Daka and James Justin too,” Rogers said.

Daka has scored two goals in seven English Premier League appearances and has also chipped in with three assists.

Daka scored in the 4-2 win over Manchester United in October and the 4-0 win over Newcastle United early this month.

Leicester City host Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Wednesday with kick set at 7:30 pm (21:30 CAT) GMT.
