Patson Daka starts for Leicester City away at Tottenham

Chipolopolo striker Patson Daka has returned to the Leicester City starting line up for this afternoons clash against The Lilywhites at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The Chipolopolo Boys striker was an unused substitute in the 1-1draw with AS Roma in the UEFA Europa Conference League on Thursday.

He takes up the place of English forward Jamie Vardy as Brenden Rogers makes eight changes to the team that drew with Jose Mourinho’s Roma.

Daka leads the Foxes’ attack with Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho playing just behind him. Ayonze Perez and Marc Albrighton start on either wing.

Papy Mendy and Boubakary Soumare make up a midfield duo. Luke Thomas, Timothy Castagne, Soyunchu, and Daniel Amartey make up the back four with Casper Schmeichel keeping his place between the sticks.

Wesley Fofana, Youri Tielemans, Ademola Lookman and Jamie Vardy drop to the bench while James Madison and Kierian Dewsbury Hall are rested.

Daka will be looking to add to his four goals he has scored in the English Premier League so far.

The Zambian has averaged 15 goal contributions (10 goals and five assists) in 20 starts for Leicester City this season.
