Patson Daka braces Salzburg to eighth straight league title

Daka grabbed his brace in the 56th minute after pouncing on a loose ball inside the box and picking his spot, 2-0.

Daka could have completed his hat-trick in the last few minutes but somehow his effort was kept out nevertheless that did not matter because, after the final whistle, Salzburg were Champions, winning their eighth straight league title with two games to spare.

Midfielder Enock Mwepu put in a brilliant shift before being withdrawn in the 77th minute.

Daka leads the top goalscorers chart with 26 league goals in 25 games and 33 strikes in all competitions.
