Patriotic Frankie Musonda receives trophy with a Zambian flag

New Chipolopolo centre back Frankie Musonda showed his love for his country on Sunday when he carried the Zambian flag on the winners podium to collect the SPFL Trust Cup champions trophy.

Musonda completed 90 minutes helping Raith Rovers defeat Queen of the South 3-1 to lift the cup.

The son of the Kabwe based mathematics professor Patrick Musonda made his Chipolopolo debut in the 3-1 defeat of Congo Brazaville in a FIFA sanctioned international friendly.

The 24-year-old Britain born impressed scoring a bullet headed third goal on March 25 at the Mardan Sports Complex in Antalya, Turkey.
