Patrick Phiri appointed Technical Advisor at Kansanshi Dynamos as Yobe is confirmed head coach

North Western Province based MTN Super League side Kansanshi Dynamos have reinforced their technical bench. 

The Mabanga Boys have confirmed the appointment of veteran coach Patrick Phiri as technical advisor till the end of the current season.

Meanwhile Donewell Yobe has been confirmed as head coach and has since signed a two year deal. 

“Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club is thrilled to announce the appointment of former Zambia National Team Head Coach, Patrick Phiri, as Technical Advisor for the club until the end of the 2023/24 season. In light of the team’s current standing on the log, this strategic move aims to aid the club’s efforts to surge away from relegation threats.

In addition, the club is pleased to confirm Donewell Yobe as Head Coach, who has signed a two-year contract.”

Phiri and Yobe have since been tasked with the crucial mission of ensuring the club maintains its spot in the MTN Super League for the upcoming season.

Patrick Phiri is a seasoned coach with a wealth of experience at both national and club levels, having also worked with teams like Nkana and Simba of Tanzania, brings invaluable expertise to our team.

Kansanshi Dynamos are currently third from bottom with 25 points from 25 games. They are winless in their last five games.
