OPPOSITION WANTS PRIVATISATION PROBE

By Mark Ziligone:

The Patriots for Economic Progress -PEP- says President Edgar Lungu should consider a commission of enquiry to establish what happened during the privatisation of national assets as petitioned by Zambians.

PEP President Sean Tembo says if establishing a commission of inquiry is what will please Zambians, then President Lungu should do so.

Mr. Tembo has told ZNBC News in an interview that establishing a commission of enquiry will not only target an individual but others who were involved in the process.

And Mr. Tembo said political players should not blind fold Zambia by insinuating that establishing a commission of enquiry is a political witch-hunt.
