OPPOSITION PARTIES TIP GOVT ON BUDGETING

Opposition political parties have urged government to allocate more resources to key sectors that will help the economy recover.

Leadership Movement Party President RICHARD SILUMBE says more resources should be given to entrepreneurs as this will contribute to job creation.

Dr. SILUMBE told ZNBC News that he is hopeful that the national budget under the new dawn administration will meet people’s expectations.

He said the budget should also consider lowering taxes for the citizens.

Meanwhile, New Heritage party President CHILESHE KATEKA said her party expects to see a national budget that will set the tone on were the country is going.

Ms KATEKA said her party is hopeful that government will present the national budget that will help grow the economy.

Tomorrow Finance Minister SITUMBEKO MUSOKOTWANE will present the first national budget under the UPND administration.
