The Copper Queens forward has become the latest member of the Olympics bound squad to ink a deal abroad.
Mubanga has penned a three year deal with the Spanish second tier of Women’s football campaigner.
“The Zaragoza team continues with the management and planning of the next season 20/21, with the signing of the player Hellen Mubanga, fifth signing, to complete the attacking area of the team.”
The news comes just barely four days after the club announced the acquisition of compatriot, Rachel Nachula.
The 25-year-old has been instrumental for the Copper Queens in recent past winning the player of the tournament at the 2019 COSAFA tournament and scoring the second goal in Zambia’s 2-1 win over Cameroon to make history and book a place at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Mubanga is currently the leading goalscorer in the Lusaka FAZ Women’s league with 14 goals from 8 games.
