Nurse arrested for allegedly raping a three months pregnant woman, Police say

POLICE in Mkushi have arrested a male nurse at Chitina Rural Health Centre for allegedly raping a three months pregnant woman.Nicomed Banda, 31, is being held for allegedly raping a 31 year old woman who went to the health centre in the company of her husband for an antenatal session.Central Province Police Commissioner Joel Njase confirmed the sad development to the media.“The victim went to the clinic for antenatal checks, escorted by her husband who she left outside as she was being attended to by the suspect in a certain room,” he said.
