North- Western Division One: Police Doves host free-scoring Kalumbila Quattro as Juma battle Zesco Mufumbwe

The North-Western Provincial Division One will provide entertainment in the province this weekend.

APG Milling is looking for their first win of the season as they host Mufumbwe United who doesn’t seem to get any results whenever they play away from home.

APG Milling who have played two games so far as they didn’t play a week 11 fixture due to Kalumbila Quattro having a bereavement have collected 2 points from two games while Mufumbwe United who despite picking up 3 points from three games, don’t look convincing and like a team which can cause an upset in this fixture. A draw may be another result looking at how APG Milling is struggling to find the back of the net.

Appealing to the eyes, glittering to the face, and adrenaline injecting hormone is a match between Police Doves who will be at home to Kalumbila Quattro dubbed the free scorers. Police Doves are averaging a goal in each game as they have scored three times in three matches and have not conceded any a run which has put them on 3rd place level on points with league leaders Solwezi United but with inferior goal difference while Kalumbila Quattro who also have a 100% winning start to the season has 6 points from two games as they have a game in hand and the process they have scored seven past opponents with only once have they picked the ball from their net.

It will be a game between rampant and strong defense. Will Kalumbila Quattro continue with their 3.5 scoring aspect ratio per game? or will Police Doves keep a record fourth clean sheet of the season? Only 90 plus added minutes will answer these questions as it is difficult to pick out an outright winner.

Solwezi United’s perfect start to the season is set to continue as the Sandras Kumwenda tutored side will host Zesco Solwezi who have scored and conceded once with 4 points to their name from three games. Solwezi United also called the municipalities have recorded wins from their first three games and sit pretty comfortably on top with a goal difference of twelve points as they have scored thirteen goals and conceded once.

They have contributed a 20% to the league goals as they have scored thirteen times from the sixty-six goals the league has witnessed so far, a remarkable achievement. A win is a result they are expected to get.

Second-placed Maheba Academy their fight for a top slot is likely not to receive a setback when they host mumpulumba who have recorded two losses and a win. Maheba Academy who are averaging 2 goals per game is on course for another good ride of better results unless they just choose to entertain us to a different result.

Fourth-placed Solwezi Academy will be at home to Flying Stars who are yet to fly with maximum results from any match as they have two draws and a loss to their name. Solwezi Academy may be at home but Flying Stars despite not picking up maximum points, just lack coordination otherwise they have shown glimpses of playing good football.

A shocker may be a result if Solwezi Academy fails to account for themselves with Flying Stars likely to settle for a draw.

Manyama United explosive will have a home date against Spartans FC who are finding it difficult to pick up points as they have only a point to their name so far this season. Manyama Explosive if they need maximum points, they need to do something to their backline which is conceding in each game.

Who will smile in this one after 90 plus added minutes when the most porous defense comes up with the second most porous defense in the league. Juma FC who are conceding second-most goals and only have a point will be at home to the team with a 100% losing mark who are Zesco Mufumbwe.

Maybe Juma playing at home will record a better result otherwise this match does not promise a match for the fans.

ZNS Mumbezhi will be at home to young Kansanshi Dynamos a match which at least a point or three will be expected from the Zambia National Service sponsored side while closing the fixture will be the match between Kyalalankuba and Lumwana Heroes in which the latter is expected to do the damage.
