NO VOTER WILL BE TURNED BACK

Chilanga District Electoral Officer HUDITH BEENE has assured electorates that no one will be deprived of the right to vote in today’s general election.

Mrs BEENE who is also Chilanga Council Secretary says every person will be allowed to vote as long as they are at the polling stations before 18:00 houirs.

She says the turn out of voters is good in most of the polling stations in the district.

Mrs BEENE told ZNBC News in an interview that the good voter turn out is an indication that voter education was done well.

Mrs BEENE explained that each polling station is receiving over eight hundred people.

She said all the ninty polling stations in Chilanga District opened on time.
